Project BudBurst is a network of people across the United States who monitor plants as the seasons change. Your observations are used by scientists to help all of us better understand how plants are responding to changing climates.
As a participant, you will report observations about the timing of plant phenophases (leafing, flowering, fruiting, and more). You can adopt a plant(s) to monitor throughout the seasons and record 'Regular Reports' about what you observe and/or report observations of plants you encounter on a one-time basis through 'Single Reports'. The methods for reporting Regular Reports and Single Reports differ, so be sure to read more about them on the next page.
